High Performance Building Division
Phillip Macey
High Performance Buildings Division Manager
Making buildings better — that is the focus of the High Performance Building division.
As the Division Manager, I am personally committed to the business case of sustainability. When buildings work better, the people that work, learn and live there have better experiences. The activities they engage in are more profitable – both in dollars and in the quality of the experience. We combine smart decisions with insightful construction to deliver facilities that accelerate your operations, reduce expenses and enhance the environment.
Performance is about better value, and Haselden has delivered value to clients in the municipal, institutional, federal, and private sectors since 1973. In the High Performance Building Division, we work within these sectors to build next generation office, laboratory, education, and hospitality and healthcare facilities that leverage every project dollar towards building better value- today and over the life of the building.
A unique service of the High Performance Building Division is the guidance we provide in helping you reposition your existing assets to address both current market and operational needs, as well as the new energy standards of the future.
Success in today’s marketplace requires that you have not just a general contractor, but a business partner who is focused on the critical factors that affect your building and your business. Haselden brings you a partner with experience and expertise in:
- Sophisticated and collaborative project delivery approach combining early cost control and maximum results
- Working with owners and design teams to enhance the long term viability of new and existing facilities
- Transferring costs from complex systems to building envelopes for permanent energy savings
- Renovating, remodeling and retrofitting existing assets to improve performance
- Sustainability, LEED requirements, energy-efficient systems, and renewable energy resources
We look forward to the opportunity of partnering with you to create spaces and places that support the future of your business.
Sincerely,
Since our inception, Haselden has been committed to minimizing the impacts of our construction activities on the environment. Our long-standing presence in the Rocky Mountain region has created a sensitivity to building on sites where construction can impact the mature trees, wildlife and water sources that make these areas special.
As energy conservation and the impacts of the built environment on our energy resources have become a national priority, Haselden has developed extensive expertise in sustainable construction. Haselden’s leadership in LEED construction began in 2002 when it completed one of the first LEED certified schools in the nation. Since that time, we have become experts in helping clients maximize LEED points within their project budgets to reach the highest LEED certification level possible.
