Haselden provided the University of Wyoming a new state-of-the-art computing facility aimed at providing the university community with the best in technological services. The Center is designed to accommodate the future commuting and technology needs of the campus.

Bringing It All Together
The IT Center brought together all four departments of the University Division of Information Technology. Client Support Services, located primarily on the first floor, focuses on providing computer-related services and training to the university community on a walk-in basis with 24-hour study areas and computing labs. The central computing room is equipped with specialized heating, ventilating, air-conditioning, and electrical systems, and has a high level of reliability to assure minimal disruptions to computer access. The data center includes high-level security systems, regulated humidity control, 6,000 square feet of raised floors, and space for over 200 server cabinets. The Center also provides data security backup for the State of Wyoming’s data. The construction schedule was carefully planned to take full advantage of local weather conditions and complete the project on schedule.
