Haselden’s commitment to a transparent, open-book approach has led to continuous work on the CSU campus in Fort Collins since 2012.
The Health Outreach Education Center (HEOC) project lies in the heart of the Science Quad at Colorado State University, and is surrounded by highly-trafficked student walkways and gathering spaces. In addition to student and pedestrian traffic adjacent to the project site, we connected this new addition to the existing Anatomy-Zoology building, which remained occupied during construction.
This center accommodates an 38,000 SF 4-story addition to the east side of the existing Anatomy-Zoology Building. The addition houses the Department of Biomedical Sciences’ human anatomy program, which includes state-of-the-art Gross Anatomy and Neuroanatomy Teaching Laboratories and Coolers, a Virtual Anatomy Lab, support spaces including storage, and locker rooms for future growth to accommodate a community outreach initiative and departmental offices.
