Haselden recently completed construction to the 87,600 SF addition and remodel to Meeker High School. This new school will provide better facilities for the school’s faculty and it’s 200 students. Addition and renovations include a new classroom wing, gymnasium addition, remodel to the existing gymnasium and auditorium, and updates to the commons area, administration offices, kitchen, science labs, metals classroom, and woodshop. These upgrades were completed in two phases during the school year, on an occupied campus.
Throughout this project Haselden ensured that school administrators and teachers were consistently informed of construction activities and how students and staff would be impacted. During construction, the existing school building has had several safety features in place, including safety fencing, alternative walkways and parking, emergency egresses, and additional exits and entrances in place to ensure the students’ continued safety.
